NSW: Workers walk off job on Bears new stadium

SYDNEY, Feb 23 AAP - Work on the North Sydney rugby league team's new stadium at Gosford
stopped today over safety and site agreement concerns on the Central Coast.

The workers at Grahame Park stadium walked off the job this morning for 24 hours after
voting to strike in support of a new site agreement and over safety issues, Construction,
Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) assistant secretary Craig Bates said.

Mr Bates said 10 union organisers had been visiting sites to ensure building workers were
paid correctly and sites were safe as …
