Gospel sounds vibrate with passionate fervor
As a premiere to Black Music Month, Pam Morris, host and Gospel Festival coordinator, with Jim Law, executive director of the Mayor's Office of Special Events presented a festival that thrilled Chicago citizens in an historical perspective of gospel music utilizing every religious genre, even under cloudy skies, threatening rain and a very, very cool atmosphere.
Soloists, ensembles, choruses and instrumentalists of every stylized dimension blazed with passionate fervor as they sang with an overflowing power of amazing grace (the unmerited gift of salvation through the Saviour, Jesus Christ).
